Abstract
Two new aromatic amides were isolated from the pericarps of Zanthoxylu m lemairie. The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods an d confirmed by synthesis. A known aromatic amide, zanthosinamide, and four dibenzylbutyrolactone lignans were isolated.
