Abstract
A 3-year-old boy with hydrocephalus was observed to have a painless 2.0-cm right scrotal mass. Abdominal radiograph showed ventriculoperitoneal shunt tubing in the right scrotal sac, Removal of a detached shunt catheter and i nguinal hernia repair resolved the problem.
