Abstract
In this paper we show how to construct varieties of arbitrary dimension in P-n with prescribed intermediate cohomology modules (up to shift). If the c odimension is not too small then we use Kleiman's Bertini theorems to guara ntee that the varieties are integral or even smooth. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scie nce B.V. All rights reserved.
