In this paper, we present a microscopic model to describe the spectroscopy
and dynamics for photosynthetic bacterial reaction centers (RCs). In this m
odel, we propose eight vibrational modes and their Huang-Rhys factors for d
ifferent electronic energy states, and the couplings between the electronic
states. As applications, we have constructed steady state and ultrafast ti
me-reserved spectra for the mutant RC of Rhodobacter (Rb.) sphaeroides R26.
Our model can also treat the temperature effect on the spectroscopy and dy
namics of RCs.
