Abstract
A new group of 6- and 7-substituted compounds of 4-amino-2-phenylquinazolin e were synthesized by reaction of N-arylbenzimidoyl chlorides with cyanamid e in the presence of TiCl4. The products were identified by spectroscopic m ethods, their dissociation constants were determined and are discussed.
