Abstract
Five myxosporidia of the genus Myxobolus were described from Mugil cep halus of Senegal : M. mulleri Butschli, 1882; M. exiguus Thelohan, 189 5, M. hannensis sp. n., M. goreensis sp.n. and M. raibauti sp. n. Thes e myxosporidia infected the gill, the liver and the intestine. The ult rastructural features of M. hannensis comply in general with features known in this genus.
