Abstract
A study is made of the electrolyte deposition of titanium boride powders fr om halide melts. The conditions required fro the deposition of different ph ases are determined. On the whole, the synthesis process is controlled by i nterrelated factors: electrolyte composition, current density, and the temp erature and duration of the electrolysis operation.
