Abstract
A model of accelerated homogenization in powder mixtures is proposed. Calcu lations showed that homogenization can be accelerated 4-5 times by periodic or permanent intermixing. This result is important for mixtures of refract ory metal powders in which the component particles can retain their identit ies for a long time, and very extensive annealing is required for complete homogenization.
