Abstract
We report a 31-year-old patient with a pT3N2M1 seminoma who received cispla tin-based chemotherapy, During the second course of chemotherapy, the patie nt suffered a thrombosis of the basilar artery. He died 14 h after hospital admission. Cerebrovascular events related to cisplatin-based chemotherapy are rare, however, these potentially fatal events should be kept in mind wh en treating patients with testicular cancer.
