Abstract
The interaction of a classical Bowman-Birk soybean inhibitor (BBI 2-IV ) with human granulocyte alpha-chymotrypsin and cathepsin G was studie d kinetically. The rate constants determined for the inhibitor-protein ase systems were 2.0.10(5) M(-1).sec(-1) and 6.410(6) M (-1).sec(-1) f or alpha-chymotrypsin and cathepsin G, respectively.
