Abstract
The Nd:YAG laser is the most widely used laser for flexible endoscopic surg ery in horses. The clinician must understand the advantages and disadvantag es of different laser techniques, including Nd:YAG contact and noncontact m ethods. The outcome for a range of equine diseases has been improved by the availability and proper use of a variety of lasers.
