N. Saito et al., Endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) using Endocut for common bile duct stones, 7TH WORLD CONGRESS OF ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY, 2000, pp. 193-194
The effect of EST using Endocut (automatic coagulation and cut system mode)
was evaluated in total 38 patients with common bile duct stones. In patien
ts who received Endocut EST, there was no bleeding from papilla vater, and
all common bile duct stones were completely removed by first EST using Endo
cut. We confirm that EST using Endocut was useful for the extraction of com
mon bile duct stones, because it was easy and safe technique to prevent ble
eding and perforation in EST.
