The use of fibrin sealant during laparoscopic fenestration of splenic cysts

Like for others abdominal disorders, laparoscopic treatment of benign lesio ns of the spleen is the new standard of care. The most delicate issue durin g laparoscopic management of splenic disease is parenchimal bleeding. We pr esent the case of a 29 year-old male with multiple non parasitic splenic cy sts (the largest measuring 12 cm), treated with laparoscopic fenestration, achieving meticulous hemostasis using fibrin sealant.
