The models of the charge transport in electroactive thin films published in
the literature are surveyed. Both the ion/electrons 2-species models and t
he anion/cation/electron 3-species models are examined. The insertion laws
of the ions and the transport of the species in the bulk film are taken int
o account. The steady state and the dynamic behaviour are derived. The latt
er is analysed in terms of electrochemical impedances and electrogravimetri
c (mass/potential) transfer function.
