Abstract
A method for a simultaneous projection of particle number and isospin from a many-body state describing the BCS ground state of a mixed system of nucl eons interacting among themselves through pairing forces is presented. Only the T = 1 pairs as well is commented upon. The projected state is written in both particle and quasiparticle representations. possible perspectives a re sketched and commented upon, (C) 2000 Academic Press.
