Southern isolated galaxy triplets

Seventy-six isolated triple systems of galaxies with declinations delta < - 3 degrees were selected using ESO/SERC and POSS-I sky survey data. The equa torial coordinates, configuration types, angular sizes, component angular s eparations, component morphological types, total magnitudes, and other para meters are reported for each tripler. Radial-velocity estimates are availab le for all components in 33 of the 76 triplets. The median values of the ma in dynamical parameters-radial-velocity dispersion, mean harmonic radius, a bsolute magnitudes of member galaxies, and mass-to-luminosity ratios-are si milar to those obtained earlier for 83 isolated triple systems with delta > -3 degrees.
