Abstract
Brazilian honey today is produced mainly by Africanized honey bees. Present honey production is nearly 30 000 tonnes per year. Brazilian honey falls i nto three types: flower honey, honey from plant exudates and honey from exu dates from sap-sucking insects (honeydew).
