Abstract
The Oupia anticline is a fault-propagation fold located at the northeastern tip of the Pyrenees. We show that this structure is suitably modelled usin g the trishear kinematic model rather than the self-similar kink-band model . In particular, the trishear model accounts well for the change in forelim b dip along strike as well as for sequential overall thickening and then th inning of the forelimb deduced from microtectonic analysis.
