Abstract
There has been considerable activity in many areas of drug delivery over th e past six months. Patents have been filed for innovation in system design and formulation, and in prophylactic and therapeutic strategies for drug de livery via a number of routes. Many of these systems claim to have potentia l for drug targeting and enhanced mucosal drug delivery. This brief update focuses on recent developments in patents on drug delivery systems.
