Abstract
A series of novel organotin compounds have been synthesised from the reacti on of tribenzyltin chloride with quinones/barbiturates/triazoles on basic a lumina in an open vessel under microwave irradiation (MWI). The reaction ti me has been brought down from hours to seconds compared to conventional hea ting. All the synthesis compounds have shown significant antibacterial and antifungal activity.
