Abstract
In this paper we point out local similarity transformations for the flow th rough a medium with high porosity bounded by a semi-infinite horizontal pla te and we have the presence of heat transfer. The free stream velocity and the temperature far away from the plate are exponential functions of a vari able. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
