Abstract
Epidemiological features suggest a link between Hodgkin's disease (IID) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection(1). Indeed, EBV genome and expression o f latent antigens can be found in Reed-Sternberg cells(1). In the majority of cases I-ID in HIV patients seems to be EBV-associated(2). We report on a 51-year-old HIV-infected patient in whom EBV-positive HD of mixed cellular ity rapidly developed within one month after cessation of treatment with in travenous foscarnet.
