Abstract
A novel transverse oscillatory behavior of a spatial soliton is presen ted. The controlling parameter of the spatial oscillation period is co nstituted by the intensity of the input beam. The scheme is based on a n interesting property of a soliton in a waveguide with transverse Gau ssian refractive index profile.
