Abstract
Rhein, physcion, aloe-emodin and chrysophanol isolated from Rheum emodi rhi zomes exhibited antifungal activity against Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Aspergillus fumigatus (MIC 25-2 50 mu g/ml). (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
