Abstract
Use of the deuterium NMR spectrum of a deuteriated solute dissolved in the nematic phase of a liquid crystal is suggested for setting the magic angle in solid state NMR. The use of the method as a convenient and accurate mean s of setting the angle is demonstrated. (C) 2000 Academic Press.
