Abstract
Intercalation of naphthalene and its substituted derivatives into MoS2 has been achieved by exfoliation-reflocculation. Intercalation results in an ex pansion of the lattice in a direction perpendicular to the dichalcogenide l ayers and, in the case of naphthalene, modifies the electrical properties o f the host.
