Abstract
The variety of N,N-disubstituted hydantoin libraries were constructed using derivatives of amino acids, aromatic aldehydes, and isocyanates. The cyclization step of hydantoin was a novel, fast and clean reactio n and completed within five minutes to 1 hour with near diisopropylami ne. All library compounds were obtained in excellent yield with high p urity even after 5 steps. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
