Abstract
High absorbance values in ELISA testing tor tospoviruses were observed in C hlorophytum comosum. On the basis of KIP-PCR, inoculation to rest plants, e lectron microscopy, and immunoblotting it was concluded that these results were caused by an unspecific reaction. This background reaction could be el iminated by addition of unspecific antiserum as a blocking agent.
