Abstract
The title compound (alternatively 1,7,8-triacetoxyperhydroindolizin-6-yl be nzoate), C21H25NO8, was obtained during studies of castanospermine derivati ves. The crystal structure consists of independent molecules with only van der Waals contacts. The fused six- and five-membered rings adopt chair and twist conformations, respectively.
