Abstract
The decay of resonant states, formed in low-energy heavy-ion collisions, pr oduces structure in the excitation function and in the angular distribution s. Statistical phenomena, too, call produce a similar behaviour. For this r eason a statistical analysis of the experimental distributions is needed. B y using this method we evidenced resonances in S-32+Ti-46, Ni-58 and Ni-62 collisions at energies just above the Coulomb barrier.
