Abstract
Tube-ovarian abscess is not a rare complication in carriers of intrauterine devices. We report on 40-year-old women with a tube-ovarian abscess that h ad invaded the abdominal wall. Until the disease had reached full developme nt the symptoms were deceptive and exclusively urological, similar to a lef tsided renal colic.
