Abstract
The use of high-resolution magic angle spinning NMR spectroscopy for in sit u studies of low-molecular-mass compounds in red algae has been studied. Th e impact of different acquisition parameters on the resulting T-2-filtered one-dimensional high-resolution magic angle spinning H-1 NMR spectra is des cribed. The technique was used for in situ identification and quantificatio n of some low-molecular-mass algal metabolites, (C) 2000 Academic Press.
