Abstract
We study the growth of a crystal in the presence of correlated disorde r on the substrate. Using a functional renormalization group, we show, for a long-range disorder correlation, an initial decay of the Kardar -Parisi-Zhang-type nonlinearity, though over a large length scale the behavior can be governed by the nonlinearity.
