Abstract
We report a case in which recurrent hemorrhage from stomal varices was succ essfully treated by placement of a TIPS in a patient with prior colectomy f or inflammatory bowel disease. Although several treatment options have been reported for this entity we believe that TIPS offers minimally invasive an d definitive treatment.
