Abstract
Based on the numerical wave function solutions of neutral atoms with attrac tive interaction in a harmonic trap, we propose an exactly solvable model f or macroscopic quantum tunneling of a Bose condensate with attractive inter action. me calculate the rate of macroscopic quantum tunneling from a metas table condensate state to the collapse state and analyze the stability of t he attractive Bose-Einstein condensation.
