Abstract
It is shown that the elastic properties of a massif can be used in the expl osion-driven displacement of a loose material, which enables savings in ene rgy. The desired effect is attained by taking into account the specific fea tures of wave processes in the massif and by choosing the rational delay ti me, i.e., the interval between the explosions of subsequent charges.
