Solid phase hydroperoxidation of isotactic polypropylene followed by grafti
ng of various monomers through thermolytic cleavage of peroxide group was c
arried out at 70 degrees C. Grafting efficiency was observed to be greater
than 90% in most of the cases. Maximum % of grafting was observed (24.5%) i
n the case of styrene. Graft copolymers were characterised through SEM, C-1
