The spatially addressable electrolysis platform (SAEP) has been designed an
d constructed. It is demonstrated that the advantages of electrochemistry c
an be readily adapted to combinatorial chemistry and parallel synthesis for
mats. Parallel electrosynthesis of alpha-alkoxycarbamates, alpha-allcoxyami
des, and alpha-alkoxysulfonamides via anodic oxidation of carbamates, amide
s, and sulfonamides, respectively, highlights the main features of the SAEP
