According to the method developed previously for calculating the required r
otation for composite connections, typical cases are studied and the requir
ed connection rotations are evaluated. Maximum span:depth ratios are presen
ted so that the required connection rotations are smaller than 20, 25 or 30
mRad respectively. Conclusions are made on the effects of different load c
ases, steel grades and end conditions on the required rotation for plastic
