In this paper, a technique for the concrete construction of compactly suppo
rted biorthogonal wavelet bases of L-2(R-n) is given. This technique does n
ot depend on the dimension n, and it gives rise to non-separable multidimen
sional wavelet bases. Of special interest is the study of the stability of
the constructed wavelet frames. It is assumed that the dilation matrices as
