Abstract
In this paper, a technique for the concrete construction of compactly suppo rted biorthogonal wavelet bases of L-2(R-n) is given. This technique does n ot depend on the dimension n, and it gives rise to non-separable multidimen sional wavelet bases. Of special interest is the study of the stability of the constructed wavelet frames. It is assumed that the dilation matrices as sociated with the wavelet bases are given by D = 2I(n).
