Abstract
On the basis of a recent generalization of the Maker fringes theory, we hav e implemented an alternative use of the fringes aimed at disclosing the die lectric orientation of obliquely cut planks. The method (model transfer fun ction, experimental layout, fitting) is outlined and its consistency is dem onstrated. Some simulations for wide gap organic crystals are presented.
