This paper describes the mathematical modeling and analysis of an indoor ra
dio propagation system design problem that looks for an optimal location of
a single transmitter. The authors present here a combination between a sim
ple indoor propagation model and a Nelder-Mead simplex method. A comparison
between this and other optimization methods shows that the Nelder-Mead met
