Abstract
The possibility is shown of developing a new method based on the surface ph oto-charge effect (SPCE) to study liquids, gases and vapors. The main idea is that, due to the strong susceptibility of this effect to the state of th e irradiated interface, each change in the liquid- or gas-contacting surfac es would cause changes in the observed signals. The experiments performed s o far support such a possibility.
