The paramagnetic susceptibility of a 2D metal with attraction between
charge carriers is obtained, proceeding from the simple theoretical fi
eld model. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility i
s calculated for various concentrations of fermions. It is shown that
the paramagnetic susceptibility can be reduced significantly in view o
f the presence of a finite number of decoupling fermion pairs in the n
ormal phase. The relation of the proposed model to the marginal behavi
or of the Fermi liquid in high-T-c, superconductors, in particular, wi
th the effects associated with the formation of a spin gap, is conside
