The excess enthalpies of liquid alloys in the ternary system Sn-Sb-Te were
determined in a heat-flow calorimeter at 1073 K along the section Sn0.5Sb0.
5-Te and for SnySb1-y-Te along sections with y = 0.2, 0.5 and 0.8 at 1173 K
. The largest values of the exothermic enthalpies are found on a line from
SnTe to Sb2Te3. The association model was applied for the analytical descri
ption of thermodynamic data of liquid binary tellurium alloys. Ternary inte
raction parameters were used for the calculation of excess enthalpies of th
e melts in the ternary system. These parameters were obtained by fitting cu
rves to the experimental data with the least squares method.
