The mutual correlations of protonation constants pK(n), measured in th
e CH3COOH-H2SO4 system for azaporphyrins of various structures, are su
ggested to study electronic effects in the azaporphyrin molecules. An
example of determining the back n effect in coordination of the Cu ato
m in copper phthalocyanine is considered.
