Abstract
We present first results from a new large-scale mapping and model-fitting a nalysis of the COMPTEL data at 1-30 MeV using 5 years of observations. The analysis includes our currently most advanced technique of accounting for t he time-variable instrumental background and produces a mutually consistent set of model-fitting parameters (spectra) and sky maps.
