Abstract
The young open cluster Berkeley 87(Berk 87) was predicted to be associated with the COS B gamma-ray source 2CG 075+00 on the basis of the experimental evidence of the presence of a shock front around the Wolf-Rayet star ST3 p laced in the inner part of the duster. The CGRO-EGRET phase-1 data confirme d this identification. The source 2EG J2019+3719, whose error box (similar to 46 arcmin diameter) contains Berk 87 open cluster (similar to 16 arcmin diameter). With the INTEGRAL-IBIS experiment it will be possible to resolve Berk 87 as point-like source and then definitively clarify its association with the CGRO source 2EG J2019+3719. We suggest also the possibility of me asuring cosmic-ray induced lines, such as the 4.44 MeV and 6.13 MeV nuclear de-excitation hues of C-12* and O-16*, as well as the 0.511 MeV annihilati on line generated by the positrons resulting from energetic particle intera ctions.
