Abstract
We propose here an experimental method to estimate the background in the SI GMA observations. The aim is to apply this method to observations of the Ga lactic Centre in which the known point sources have been removed to measure the galactic diffuse gamma-ray emission. We detect a significant excess be tween 45 and 95 keV keV, described by a power-law with an index 2.2. This l ain relatively good agreement with previous measurements.
