Abstract
Experimental double-differential cross sections (d(2)sigma/d Omega dE) for fast neutron-induced production of proton, deuteron, triton, and alpha part icle in carbon are reported at several incident neutron energies between 25 and 75 MeV. Angular distributions were measured in the laboratory angular range of 20 degrees to 160 degrees. Reliable extrapolated spectra are obtai ned at very forward (2.5 degrees and 10 degrees) and very backward (170 deg rees and 177.5 degrees) angles. Based on these experimental data, energy di fferential (d sigma/dE), angle differential (d sigma/d Omega), and total cr oss sections (sigma(T)) are reported for each detected particle.
